This was a very wholesome game that made me smile. I am sure making different decisions would change the outcome, but it was a very great story. I'd love to see more like this.

good looking game, unable to finish though.

Found a glitch in the Lava room with the moving stones. Once I got the plank, I couldn't leave the room. The back button always took me back to the collapsed hallway.

The lava room is designed to be crossed twice, back and forth. Makes it more of a challenge.

It is definitely a small, minimal game, but it expresses how you feel and what you are struggling with. Not too many games can do this accurately. It was very interesting to play, and I am glad you were able to get off your chest.

I see in your description that you are getting better, and I am glad of that.

Even the end gives the feeling of this being an almost endless cycle for you. This endless cycle of critiquing yourself and wanting to make something you see as "great" and not having the life you want is the basis of this game. Just like the way this game is, the only way you can stop the cycle is to stop "Playing". Walk away for a while, take a break, look at what's going on around you. Take a walk, get inspiration from nature or your city/town.

Anyway, that being said, I do like your game. I think it describes your struggle in a way that we can all see, and I am glad you are working on/have been getting through that.

I really like this. Starting out in a pit of despair and slowly making your way out through the power of positivity and creativity. It's definitely a great message, as well as an interesting concept. I do wish the ending was a bit different, seeing as how the end was a bit underwhelming (in my opinion). However, since this game was made in only 48 hours, you definitely have props from me. Great work! Hoping to see more of your creations.

Good work, but could be expanded upon, for sure.

I did notice I could push the blood fountain around. I think that's a glitch?

Anyway, not bad.

Not bad at all.

Has a couple of glitches here and there (in the first level, there were some places where I could walk on air), but besides that this is really good for a first game. Take what you have learned in this game and expand on this. Give it a story line, and just roll with it. Overall, great job, especially with this being your first game.

I love this series. I really hope there is going to be a next one. This helps give me inspiration for a series I have been working on. Thanks for making these, and I am really looking forward to seeing what you make next

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Thank you for the kind words!
There will definitely be a next one, even though I know already that it'll take a long while before I start making it :)
Until then, be well! :D

Not bad at all. Always looking forward to your work

selfdefiant responds:

Thanks!

I'd say the game has a couple of BUGS in it! Get it! It's a game about a... uhm... Yeah...

Anyway!

There were a couple of times I know I was hit by the swatter, but it didn't kill me, so it seems kind of random when the swatter actually hits. Besides that, the game is actually kind of fun to play. :)

thiagoorionis7 responds:

My English may seem strange (I'm using google translator), then on the game, even if the swatter hit the wings, nothing will happen, the collision area is just round the body of the fly, when the swatter is red is best close to leaving, I appreciate your opinion.

I'm lost in it, but I would say it has a lot of potential.
The controls are simple, but I think they are too simplified. I also think that there should be more variety of things you can examine in the environment. There are papers everywhere, can any of them be examined? Read? This could be used to really add depth to the story.
As with other comments, there should be more of a way to help show the player where to go, even if it is subtle. I did manage to find my way for a little bit, before getting stuck.
So now, I am going to play a bit further, and hopefully find way out of this hospital.

I am a voice actor, who is also looking into animation and game development. I like creepy things, funny things, and really good stories. If it is a really solid story, I will be hooked. Feel free to contact me anytime!
