I am a voice actor, who is also looking into animation and game development. I like creepy things, funny things, and really good stories. If it is a really solid story, I will be hooked. Feel free to contact me anytime!

Animation Feedback Please!

Posted by chrisrosewood - April 19th, 2016

Hi!

I am still in the VERY, VERY beginning stages of learning animation. I am trying little things right now (baby steps) to learn how to animate. Can anyone give me ideas on something REEEEALLY basic to try to animate, and then give me some feedback?

As another start, I made the typical "bouncing ball" animation that bounces from left to right. Can someone give me any feedback on this? Things I am doing right? Things I am doing wrong? Things I can do to make this better?

One of the hard things for me to do is get the timing right, since working in frames in really new for me.

Anyway, any constructive feedback is appreciated!

Thanks!

Basic stuff would be like sticks, I think. The ball bouncing seems solid enough, but you'll need more than my word. I'm not an animator.

Thanks for the idea. I do appreciate it!
